PDF Overlay

Lay a PDF, such as a letterhead, a stamp page or a form background, over or behind every page of another PDF. The pages keep their size and text.

Frequently asked

Quick answers about PDF Overlay. Something missing? Use the feedback button and tell us.

If the overlay has one page, it is placed on every page of the base. If it has as many pages as the base, each overlay page goes on the matching base page (page 1 on page 1, and so on). Any other number is refused, with both page counts, so nothing is put in the wrong place. The overlay is fitted whole inside each page and centred; it is never cropped or stretched, so a different shape leaves empty space around it.
