What it keeps and what it leaves out
  • Your page and its styling
Headings, lists, tables, colours, fonts and layout from your <style> blocks and style attributes print as written.
  • Embedded pictures print
Pictures stored inside the HTML itself (data: images) are in the PDF. Pictures that point to a web address cannot be fetched, so they show as [image: description] and the result counts them.
  • Links print as text with their address
So a printed copy still shows where each link goes. They are not clickable.
  • Scripts never run
Scripts, forms, frames and anything that loads from the internet are dropped, and the result says how many were. Web fonts and style sheets from a web address are not loaded either.

Quick answers about HTML to PDF. Something missing? Use the feedback button and tell us.

Mostly, yes. The page's own styling in <style> blocks and style attributes is kept, and so are tables, lists, colours and pictures stored inside the HTML itself. What cannot be kept is anything that has to be fetched or run: scripts, forms, frames, web fonts and style sheets from a web address, and pictures that point to a web address. A picture like that shows as [image: its description], and after the PDF is made the page tells you how many things were left out.
